Such a short lifespan
the pussy willows have,
before they go to seed.
How lovely to have a painting of them.
Not quite finished, just a few
final touches to add.
This one was painted from life.
I found the copper jug at the thrift shop,
and didn’t mind splurging on the pussy willows
at the flower shop, since they were nice fat ones.
